I was already aware that there are ALOT of canine 'sonas out there; wolves, dogs, whatever. Lots of cats too. I've always fancied myself more of a dog person but when everyone and their mothers are canines and felines, it kinda loses its luster and you just want to be something else. But what if anything else isn't really how you would describe yourself as? Persona, fursona, durrsona, sparkledog, whatever. I know that I don't show my characters anymore but it's more of a personal disruption for me. I represent myself more of a dog than anything else because, though I know I'm fully 100% human, I haven't found anything else that I can compare to. Dogs are loyal, lovable, and have so many personalities and so many different traits and appearances that make it one of the most diverse mammals known to this planet. But still, the whole dog fandom is wearing me down.

I've been on the search for other animals that people normally don't see representing oneself but I haven't found one that I really liked. I've even tried creating a whole 'nother species but my efforts always look like some kinda dog. I can always just draw myself as myself but where's the fun in that?
